Molly Harper Guest Post & Worldwide Giveaway

Please help me welcome the brilliantly witty Molly Harper to Royal Reviews. I hope you enjoy meeting her shifters. I sure know I did!

The werewolves of Grundy, Alaska, spend a lot of time naked, an alarming amount of time naked, really.  And they have bad luck with bear traps.

They’re stronger than regular (clothed) humans, and they heal faster.  They stay young a little longer.  And they happen to shift into giant wolves. (On four feet, not two.) But it’s their human mates that keep their pack life interesting.

In the first novel, HOW TO FLIRT WITH A NAKED WEREWOLF, we have Mo Duvall-Wenstein, a recent transplant from Mississippi, who moved to Alaska to get away from her very human, very intrusive family.  Mo has eschewed her hippie helicopter parents’ vegan ways in favor of prepping burgers and bacon as a short-order cook at the local saloon.  Between her place at the stove and her cozy cabin at the edge of town, she’s happy with her niche as Grundy’s “new girl.” Or at least, she would be, if not for grumpy local hunting guide Cooper Graham, and his habit of showing up on her front porch, naked, with traps clamped around his ankle.

Cooper’s an Alpha in exile, the abdicated leader of the pack in nearby Crescent Valley. A clash with a rival pack left him traumatized and unable to lead his family.   And seeing Mo fit so easily into his community makes him more than little cranky. But Mo’s insistence that Cooper is not the wolf responsible for a series of fatal animal attacks is what puts him on the path to balanced werewolf-dom. They bring out the best and worst in each other, which is what makes their relationship interesting.

In THE ART OF SEDUCING A NAKED WEREWOLF, Cooper’s sister, Maggie, wishes she had Cooper’s problems, a human mate who asks few questions and family members eager to take on his leadership.  Maggie is the first female to assume Alpha-hood of the Valley pack, much to their chagrin.  And the human who has caught Maggie’s eye, Nick Thatcher, is a paranormal investigator touring the area after the reports of “animal attacks” the previous year.  Nick asks a ton of questions, interviewing every relative she has and generally making a nuisance of himself.  Who could blame Maggie for biting him on the butt while in wolf form? Nick’s after the truth, but Maggie refuses to put her pack’s secret in danger.  She wants to resent the intrusion, but his wide-eyed wonder about all things paranormal is just too damn endearing to resist.

Far from the valley, lone wolf Caleb Graham has his hands full with recently resigned pack doctor Anna Moder in HOW TO RUN WITH A NAKED WEREWOLF. Anna is on the run from her abusive ex and the valley pack, who she has abandoned in order to maintain her secrets.  When she meets Caleb, she’s witnessed his shooting and the destruction of her transportation and worldly goods.  She has no choice but to help him recover and let him drag her along as he plies his trade, using his werewolf senses as a not-quite-legal bounty hunter.  Anna is suspicious of his profession and his motives, but Caleb is so earnest about keeping her close. Anna is running toward the promise anonymity and safety, but her instincts are telling her to settle down in the valley with Caleb. Learning to trust him could be her salvation or her downfall.

Each of the Grahams meet their match in the Naked Werewolf titles, though not in the way they expect. There’s verbal clashing and parrying.  There’s a certain amount of non-verbal thrusting. In the end, werewolves mate for life and I wanted to make sure that my wolves ended up howling happily ever after.

Ooh, I think the easier question would be what WOULDN'T I do with a naked werewolf? :D I think many of the things going through my mind are . . . not fit for company, let's say. LOL

I've not read Maggie's book yet, but I've really enjoyed the other two, especially Caleb's books!

Thanks for the great giveaway - and hi, Molly, please keep the great PNR's coming!

Enjoy,
TBQ

Are we talking wolf-form or human-form, because I'd be doing two totally different things then...

I would love to take a look at these books!

The Book Queen stole my line! I was so thinking that very thing.

I hate to give any spoilers, but I totally loved the ending to book 3. I adore when an author can surprise me. I honestly never saw it coming, but it made me love the series even more.
