In honour of Mr Darcy week I am going to give away a copy of the US version of Pride and Prejudice to one lucky reader. All you have to do is leave regular comment on the blog this week and make sure you leave your email address. The more comments you leave, the more entries you have!
Please also note that this is a US DVD so you'll need to be able to play that in your DVD player.

I haven't even read Pride and Prejudice yet I don't think! I have a copy of The Darcy Brothers and a copy of The Darcy's and the Bingley's that I have to read though...

I haven't read any of the sequels. I love, love, love P&P so I've always been a little skeptical of the sequels. After seeing your reviews, however, I'm rethinking that strategy.
I love Jane Austen. I have an odd version of P&P to read for Book Club that deals with zombies. Would love to have a copy of this version of the movie.

I am so glad I found your blog. I would love to win but live in US, is that OK? No sequels as yet for me!
Thanks for the giveaway and amazing blog.
I forgot to say that last time I was here I became a follower if that counts for anything.
I have not read any sequels. I love Pride and Prejudice.

Perhaps I get a kindle or sony reader one of these days Pride and Prejudice and Jane Austins other books will be available, I can't read library books, used books, etc., as I am so allergic to dust that my eyes swell up and I have problems breathing. Also allergic to cats and smoke so if anyone read it at home and had those things it makes it so much worse!
I have to buy new books, and my husband just got laid off, so I'm doing the contest thing for all it's worth to feed my addiction!

I've yet to read Pride and Prejudice, would enjoy the movie! tWarner419@aol.com
I've read MR. DARCY TAKES A WIFE by Linda Berdoll.
It's a sequel to Pride and Prejudice and its an amazing read. Written true to form for Austen fans, it takes Darcy and Elizabeth to a more passionate level that will make your toes curl. You will follow them and all the Austen characters in their adventure and misadventures, and Lizzy and Darcy eventually find their HEA. Truly, its quite romantic, but be willing to spend more than a few days to read it. At the end, you will only sigh with satisfaction.

Gosh - I know that I have, but darn, can't remember the name of the book. I'm pretty sure that the authors last name was Berdoll.
I'm hopeless...but thanks so much for the giveaway!

I haven't read any sequels yet (I've read some books based on the book), but I'd love some recommendations.

I also love P&P and was very happy to know writers offered sequels to this magnificent story.
My favourite is Sharon Lathan's Darcy Saga, which started with "Mr & Mrs Fitzwilliam Darcy" followed now by "Loving Mr Darcy" and will continue to "Darcy's at Year end" in January 2010.
Sharon's writing captivated me from the beginning. Darcy particularly is given such depth of character that I adore him even more now than ever! I love the passion and devotion Sharon gives Darcy and Lizzy but also how we get to "see" their day to day lives with such vivid detail to scenery and history it is hard to imagine this family does not exist somewhere in our universe. And although Sharon has a brilliant way of keeping true to our well known characters such as Bingley etc. Sharon also introduces new characters with such a full history behind them, it is amazing!
Overall Sharon's story is uplifting fun passionate sensual and perfectly rounded.

I really want to see this.

I haven't read "Pride & Prejudice", yet, let alone a sequel! I'm thinking of suggesting this as our book-into-movie suggestion for my book group - once a year, we like to read a book, then watch the movie & compare.
Thanks ~ megalon22{at}yahoo{dot}com
I have read all Jane Austen's books and I have also seen and enjoyed the movie, however I do not have a copy of it and would love one for my collection.
Thank you.

I have not read any of the sequels, but I would love to! I haven't read the original one yet either, but loved the movie.

I haven't read any sequels but I have read Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict and I have to say it was horrible. I don't think I got through the first 100 pages! It is not very often that I don't finish a book but that was certainly one I had to put back down!
Thanks for the awesome giveaway, I love this movie so much!
Cheers ♥
