For King and Country, three notorious rakes will put all their seductive skills to work. After all, the fate of England's monarchy is in their hands.

Since the death of his fiancĂ©e, Nathaniel Colton's polished boots have rested beneath the beds of countless wayward wives and widows of the ton. He's careful to leave each lady smiling, and equally careful to guard his heart. So seducing Lady Georgette should pose no problem. But the beautiful reformist is no easy conquest, and Nate's considerable charm fails to entice Georgette to his bed. To woo her, Nate will have to make her believe he cares about someone besides himself—and no one is more surprised than Nate when he realizes he actually does.

My Thoughts:

The Second book in the Royal Rakes Series is just as intriguing as the first and can be read as a standalone.

Being bribed into seducing the potential bride for one of the three royal dukes to stop them from producing an heir to the throne, Nathaniel Colton believes seducing Lady Georgette should be a piece of cake. What he wasn’t expecting was to fall for his intended target.

Nathaniel was more of a rake than the Rhys (the hero from the first book) so I was eager to see how his romance with Georgette was going to play out. But there was soft side to Nathaniel I wasn’t expecting and I was glad that it was added, it gave his character more depth which drew me in.

This book was very fast-paced, but the romance had the perfect amount of lingering to build up the excitement of the book. I have said it many times over but the fact that the core of the plot was developed from the great hymen race, was pure brilliance.

I simply cannot wait to read more from the brilliant writing team of Connie Mason and Mia Marlowe
