Savage Hunger by Terry Spear

SavageHunger040512

HE SAVED HER ONCE…

When Kathleen McKnight was caught in the crossfire during a mission deep in the Amazon rain forest, a mysterious man saved her life then disappeared. Kathleen returns a year later in hopes of finding her mysterious savior…

NOW HE WANTS TO CLAIM HER…

Jaguar shape-shifter Connor Anderson is instantly intrigued by Kathleen’s beauty and courage and thinks about her constantly. When she comes back to the Amazon to seek him out, he knows he had to act fast if he’s to keep her for his own…(from the back of the arc)

My Thoughts:

I was so eager to read Savage Hunger that when the arc arrived I immediately devoured it.

This was my first adventure in reading a shifter novel that dealt with something other than wolf and I have to say that the jaguar aspect of the book was a nice change from the norm.

Kathleen McKnight and Connor Anderson made a brilliant hero and heroine. They were an intriguing couple that made you want to read more of their story and the author captured the sexual tension brilliantly.

Add in a well described exotic setting (the Amazon), a well thought plot, a secondary character that is just as brilliant to read as the heroine, and action that will have you constantly flipping the page and you have a romance that you cannot put down.

I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Looks like a nice fantasy/romance novel. You are right, there should be a variation in the shifter stories. Definitely gonna read it.
