My Thoughts:
Once again, Grace Burrowes has delivered an amazing Regency romance that had me reading until the wee hours of the morn!
Lady Maggie’s Secret Scandal is the second book in the Duke’s Daughter series and the fifth book in the Moreland series and while it is a standalone book, take it from me you will be so addicted to the Windhams you will want to read the previous four.
While I liked the first book in the Duke’s Daughter series, I liked Maggie’s story so much more. It is not often that you find an author who tortures their heroine and it is Maggie’s problems that draw the readers into the book.
Oh, and I must not leave out the hero, Benjamin Hazlit has his fare share of secrets and is totally worthy of the title ‘hero’. And the chemistry between the two was brilliant.
Emotional, witty, romantic, and mysterious Lady Maggie’s Secret Scandal pulls the reader in.
Another thing that I love about Grace Burrowes books is that the Moreland siblings pop up throughout the series allowing readers to catch a glimpse of their lives after their books have ended.
This is one series that I highly recommend.
