Lovin Friday

On Lovin' Fridays, we post an excerpt from a novel with a declaration of love or a marriage proposal that gave us the warm and fuzzies, made us laugh, made us cry or made us think.

My choice for Loving Fridays this week is Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It is after all, a book from the series that lead me into reading some wonderful Young Adult fiction over the past few months. I love the development of the romance between Edward and Bella.

"When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it’s not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end." Bella

"You are the most important thing to me now. The most important thing to me ever." -Edward

"I don't have the strength to stay away from you anymore." Edward

"I told you — you don’t see yourself clearly at all. You’re not like anyone I’ve ever known. You fascinate me." Edward

"I’m essentially a selfish creature. I crave your company too much to do what I should." Edwards

"You are my life. You’re the only thing it would hurt me to lose.' Bella

"Bella, I couldn’t live with myself if I ever hurt you. You don’t know how it’s tortured me. The thought of you, still, white, cold… to never see you blush scarlet again, to never see that flash of intuition in your eyes when you see through my pretenses… it would be unendurable. You are the most important thing to me now. The most important thing to me ever." Edward

As most of you already know the movie version of Twilight has just won a MTV movie award for 'Best Kiss'. After watching this it's easy to see why.
